When we arrived at 4p the condo was not clean, the beds were still messed up from previous guests and the towels were covered in blood. we called the number provided for the host which went straight to voicemail and told us to call another number which we did and the lady answered. She was saying her husband‘s in the hospital and she couldn’t believe the maid hadn’t cleaned the room. From there, the lack of communication was horrible. We had to constantly call to get updates to see when we could even go to the room and we did not get to go to the room till after nine and it was still being cleaned at that time. The housekeeper was super nice, but she had been smoking in the room which it says no smoking and we aren’t for sure if the sheets and bedding were even washed. Then on Saturday, the host contacted me to see when we were going to check out and I had to tell her we had the condo reserve for two nights.
