It’s a good property especially for a lower priced hotel. Great beach, lovely views, quiet rooms. However the $45 plus 3 different taxes per day resort fee covers nothing that the average person would be interested in. You still have to pay to rent beach and pool equipment which should be covered under the resort fee. Also, the beds were comfortable but apparently the mattresses are never turned because the sides by the night stand tend to feel like you’re rolling downhill. Breakfast is not included and the offered buffet costs $30 per person which is high even by Maui standards. Finally the pool is very small and mostly taken up by any children playing in it. Just some things to think about before booking.

It's right on the main tourist area of kaanapali beach with lots of shopping and dining right outside and great access to the beach and great views of the sunset from the oceanview rooms. I appreciated having a full kitchen and not needing to pay resort fees for extras that I would not use.
