“Clean, comfort and peaceful”

“Beware where it says a 3 minute walk to the Terminal from the Motel. You can see the hotel from the Terminal but it’s on top of a steep hill. If you’re carrying cases it’s almost impossible unless you’re a young athlete. So be prepared for a $25 taxi bill to go less than a half mile and another $25 to get back to the terminal the next morning.”

“This hotel is very close to the port and the staff were very helpful Which is important when a large amount of passengers are checking out to get to the ship while others are checking in and having to use a very tight space for all the luggage at the front desk. But the Hotel Kon Tiki has some of the lowest rates to get a great bed in a clean facility in Papeete. But also don't expect a King's suite for a low price. Just a nice cool simple space and a good sleep in a good location. So it...

“We love our stay here. It’s honestly the perfect place to stay in Moorea. The staff were so helpful and lovely. Also, it’s amazing that you can wake up and just jump to do some snorkeling. It was the best snorkeling in the entire island. We saw 3 big turtles, an octopus and so many pretty fish plus the water is so calm. Their pina colada’s were also amazing. We highly recommend this place.”

“Pros: good location, clean, new. Cons: This is a very, very basic room. There was a desk, but no outlets to plug in a laptop, and no lights on or above the desk. No amenities like a coffee maker, toiletries (a bar of soap or tissues would be nice), microwave or refrigerator. Yet there was an ironing board in the closet, but no iron, and there was an ice maker in the hallway, but no ice bucket. No restaurant on site.
