The rooms are very cute with thoughtful touches. The bed is comfortable. Location is great, too, as you can walk anywhere around downtown Pismo within a couple minutes. It’s a historic building, so we could clearly hear street traffic and everything going on in the rooms around us (and the elevator as we stayed in the room right next to it).

It was a very nice cozy homey hotel. My kids enjoyed their bunk beds and actually wanted to stay an additional night. It’s renovated with minor scuffs here and there but it’s fine. Loved the contactless check in. We arrived a little later in the evening and it was so convenient not having to wait for a front desk receptionist to check in. My mom is also disable so having a room on the first floor made it so easy for her to get in without too much worrying. My only thing was that the AC unit kept ticking all night long even when it was not used. I also had issues with the espresso machine that came with the room. I waited over an hour for the light to stop blinking and it never stopped blinking so I skipped out on my morning coffee.

Wonderful family friendly vacation

We really enjoyed our stay! The area is walking distance to so many restaurants and the Pismo pier, and the hotel was very comfortable. The kitchen was a good size and was well stocked with seasonings and cooking utensils. We felt very well taken care of, we would love to stay again!
