“This is a wonderful hotel. They organised our transfer from the airport and we were able to buy breakfast when we arrived and use the pool until our room was ready in the afternoon. It is a 5 minute walk to the beach and 20 minute walk to the town, although there are lots of restaurants closer. The staff were very friendly and we really enjoyed our stay. We would highly recommend Hotel Villa Del Sol.”

“Great location. Right in town walking distance to the beach. Staff was friendly and helpful. Pictures were misleading... Pictures show nice little bungalows. We we're put in a room in a building above a parking garage.”

“The pool and restaurant area are lovely. Padded loungers were really nice. The room we got was very tiny and a little worn (sheets with small tears etc.) but clean. Felt the price was a bit high for the basic accommodation we got but staff were nice and the location is good. ”

“They only have 1 restaurant with poor service and the staff is not friendly. In our room the AC was not working properly, we had a animal crawling on the roof every morning at 4:00 am. The pools are nice but the service in the pool bar is very bad. I really don’t recommend this place. ”

“The proximity of the property to Ocotal beach was great- just a short walk. The dome are accessed through a few or a number of short stair cases that are built into the hillside nestled in the trees making the bird watching on the loungers or in the soaker pool phenomenal. The rooms were comfortable making the best use of the space. The air conditioner worked very well to the point that we were chilly in the middle of the night- a first on a trip down south. The breakfast was included which...

“Hidden gem. We were up in the mountains where it rained so decided to spend last night of our trip in cocoa Beach area. Rooms spotless host amazing and the best part as an animal lover was the rescue animals that are on the property. I have two myself. Will definitely be back.”

“This place is rather dated and needs updates and repairs. Broken kitchen drawer, toilet runs on after every flush, mickey-mouse shower set up, we were obligated to clean pool every day if we wanted to use it, wifi faded in and out, and it generally felt like 'economy' lodging. A bit disappointing. Location is a short walk to beach, which we really liked.”

“Had the best time at this beachside hotel. Very quaint with only a handful of rooms that are all steps to the ocean. The food was fabulous and the area was safe and walkable to other fabulous restaurants. Coco was our favourite beach, calm waves, beautiful sandy swimmable ocean! And best of all no one trying to sell you crap on the beach! Very walkable beach, we loved everything ”
