"I found the front staff to be disinterested in their job. Check in was slow as heck and i was the only one checking in at the time . At 3am i could hear someone talking loudly i thought it was just thin walls. When it was still going on at 4am i looked out my door and a female was sitting on the floor talking to someone on her computer using earbuds . I guess instead of disturbing someone in her room she felt it would be better to sit in the hall and disturb everyone. She did move to another part of the floor when I said something . When i checked out at 4:30am i mentioned it to the guy at the front desk his response was “ i told her to go back to her room but she wont , there’s nothing i can do “ I was like really whats the point of your huge security guard ? No response , apparently he could care less about making sure guests can get a restful nights sleep. No customer service and uncomfortable bed means spend your money somewhere else "

"Room was very nice and clean, property was located in a good area, property was well kept and staff was very kind and helpful. Continental breakfast was pretty bland, very little options, but can get a good breakfast from their little restaurant if you want to pay for it."

"We were disappointed with the property. It looked like a converted office building. Our suite had a twin bed in the living room area and the queen bed was in the kitchen area. There was no stove or cooktop or toaster. There was a convection microwave and air fryer, which they expect guests to use as a toaster. Apparently there was a way to make it work, but I didn’t have the time or inclination to read manuals to figure it out. There were very minimal utensils and dishes and no plug for the sink, with an old sponge left for washing up. The tabletop had a film of grease across it, but I only noticed it the following day so there was a definite ick factor. The space was heated with an old style heater/air conditioner unit that hadn’t been turned on prior to our arrival. In early March, it was cold enough to hang meat in there. It warmed up quickly, but it required the noisy fan to be running most of the night. There’s no heat in the bathroom so if you’re not shy or on your own, leave the bathroom door open to shower or you’ll feeeze. The staff are lovely, but they are working with an old property that doesn’t appear to have been originally built as a hotel, and it shows. I did ask about ventilation in the hallway as the smell of weed was very strong. New weather stripping around the doors could help. I hope whoever was indulging enjoyed themselves, but maybe do it outside next time."

"The staff were very pleasant. The room was very neat and clean. The underground parking was handy for the rental vehicle. Parking garage felt very safe with its security cameras etc. The hotel is in the heart of downtown Surrey with several homeless people around making one feel uneasy. The hotel is first class and feels safe."

"It’s half price compared to, say, Quay hotel, so I’ve been back… but modern it ain’t. "
