“This property is very old, it has great charm however it is outdated. The staff were very friendly however the resort needs updating badly. We have stayed here many years ago and decided to stay again dur to it's charm and location with wonderful views of the fall foliage. The resort has a full-length golf course that is challenging but also needs more attention.

“This is in a nice spot on Highland Lake with a large lawn leading down to the lake shore. The place is a little run down, but it was comfortable and pleasant.”
“Breakfast was wonderful. Great selection, just needed paper coffee cup tops that fit better. We met with friends for drinks and dinner that evening and the staff excelled, especially the bar tender.
We were in the Carriage House. The bathroom was wonderful, except for the slow moving sink drain. The drain in the sink in the main room was also very sluggish.
The furnishings were dated. The lamp shades were crooked. Not a great look.
