"La Mezzaluna is a short walk from Barga Gallicano train station, and buses to Lucca. Rita is amazingly hospitable & welcoming, and did so much to make our stay enjoyable. Rooms are very nice, buffet breakfast set us up for the day. There is a bus up to Barga during the day, and a taxi back in evening.If you visit Barga, this is the place to stay. "

"We were greeted with a warm and attentive welcome by Rosio which was a great way to begin our stay in Lucca. Our immaculate room and bathroom were big and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet is absolutely amazing and delicious with many choices to chose from. It was an easy walk to the historic center. "We stayed for one night and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was excellent, with an easy walk into the historic centre while still being in a quieter area. Parking was simple and convenient, which was a big plus. Our room had a balcony that we enjoyed, the air conditioning worked exceptionally well, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again on a future visit to Lucca."
