A lovely hotel in a historic building. The staff was some of the nicest I've encountered in Slovakia. Very convenient location next to the train station and a quick walk to town.

Here is a revised and improved version of the review: The Hotel Excelsior was a wonderful place to stay during my recent visit. The hotel's central location was incredibly convenient, just a short walk from all the major attractions and transportation hubs. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable - a true home away from home. The breakfast each morning was excellent, with a wide selection of high-quality, fresh items to choose from. But what really stood out was the exceptional service from the hotel staff. Everyone I interacted with, from the front desk to the housekeeping team, was unfailingly polite, friendly, and eager to assist. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at the Hotel Excelsior and would not hesitate to recommend it to family, friends, or anyone visiting the area. The combination of an ideal location, comfortable accommodations, and top-notch hospitality made it the perfect choice for my trip. I look forward to staying there again on my next visit to the city.

Great hotel near train station, excellent service

The hotel is just next to the train station, but there was no noise at all in the room. Service was excellent, staff at reception as well as in the restaurant was very helpful. Nice breakfast as well.
