“The apartment was in bad shape. The only hot water was the bathroom sink. There was bugs in the apartment. The furniture was falling apart. The apartment lucked like it was under Construction. I would not advise booking a stay here. ”

“When we arrived there were no rooms available, even though we had a prepaid guarenteed reservation through Orbitz, and we were turned away. When we requested a refund via Orbitz it was denied. We were out aproximately $100 for the room and $25 for a taxi to another hotel. The only positive was that the Hotel clerk did help us find another hotel. I chated with and Orbitz agen for about 15 - 20 minutes who was virtually no help at all. ”

“Very comfortable bed. Daily housekeeping was nice. The staff is so personable and makes you feel like part of the family. It’s a bit of a swim, but if you’re up to it, the reef is worth it it for a good snorkel.”

“My stay at the Reef House was exactly what I wanted. It has the old Roatan charm to an old dive shop that has the most welcoming staff I have ever met. From the owner Davey to Keith the IT/Bartender and the friendliest cook staff that makes great down home cooking. David the dive master has been out on the reef longer than most have known about Roatan. He knows some really cool places to see.”

“Our room was very clean and well appointed. The food was excellent, the pool and bar staff were also really good. My only criticism was they seemed understaffed, as the service times seemed a bit too long and that was directly due to staffing (we waited 25 minutes just to have someone take or dinner order the last night we were there. Regardless, we will be coming back. ”

“yes the staff were courteous. It was annoying that when you walked up 3 flights of stairs to get to Herbie's the restaurant door was locked and they wouldn't let you in that way. They insist that you take the elevator via the garage but I don't like elevators if I can avoid them ”

“ We are here now and cannot recommend this hotel enough. They coordinated an airport shuttle so getting here was very easy. The beach is beautiful. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming. Special shoutout to Gina who has been so sweet to my kids. If safety is a concern, don’t think twice about booking here. It’s very safe. “Room was very tidy . Not Staff didn’t speak English as before , but didn’t impede having a good time . There was however a lack of warm water and no hot water for showers . My 4th or 5th visit over the years . Dive centre and staff amazing!”
