When viewed just right from about one spot on the entire planet, the first dark window you see to the right of the central structure appears to reveal a woman sitting in her chair. To the more jaded eye, it would seem that a large flaw in the ancient glass happens to line up very nicely with a large, stuffed chair directly behind the window. No matter. People come from miles around to scare the bejeezus out of themselves by lining up precisely where the apparition can see them and shrieking in delight. However, few of them will actually stay at the "boutique hotel" contained within. Which is probably why the owner is looking to sell it. If you like company, but are not overly fond of money, you might drop by and make him an offer.

Comfy bed, great beach view. Grateful for the sticks they keep in the sliders as you really have to shove the door to get it locked. Only one lock option in the main room door; not super secure feeling for solo female traveler but there is a really convenient luggage rack which not all hotels provide! Upon moving the shower curtain to take shower, located two extra wasclothes in the upper corner of the shower curtain crusty and used. Third time staying here, third time not super friendly check in staff. Comes with wall mounted hair dryer, would not suggest using as back of dryer was very full of lint. Lots of parking options, lots of warm water. If you prefer staying in a hotel where you can hear your neighbors phone conversation, this is a great opportunity for you!

Great view! Loved the working waterfront feel. The room was very clean and cozy and the bathroom seemed newly re-done. Receptionist was very nice.

The location and simplicity of the hotel is what we love. On the water with beach access. Watch the ferry and other boats come and go from the balcony. Close to downtown. The staff has always been friendly and helpful when we stay.

Demi at the front was friendly and accommodating. The beach view was amazing. It was right outside our sliding glass door. The rooms were clean and seemed well cared for. We were visiting family and friends in the area and this was a great location. It is very close to the ferry dock so it would be walkable if you didn’t bring your car. We plan on staying there again. The only drawback for some would be that there is not an elevator. They could stay on the first floor of three though.

The heater did not work very well. We had to have someone from the front desk come and show us how to turn it on. The entry way and bathroom floor was very slippery and should be replaced. The room did not feel clean. The water view was poor, it looked out over the HVAC system. Needless to say i was very disappointed and would not recommend this hotel in its current condition. I will say that the person checking us in and who helped with the heater was very nice.

Probably the very worst bed I have ever slept in, and the pillows were solid rocks. The heat didn’t work very well so the room was cold and there were no extta blankets. Just a uncomfortable stay

Staff was nice and polite. I felt a bit of a let down when I drove up. It looked kind of run down initially. I was on the 3rd floor and the view was fantastic! The room was clean and exceeded my initial thoughts on arrival. Food, gas, groceries are all close by. Great affordable place to stay while visiting Port Townsend!

We had two rooms, both non-smoking, but one of them had definitely been smoked in. The walls were thin so we could hear water easily when neighbors flushed or washed their hands. Everything was very clean so that was nice. Fridge and microwave are always good amenities and we used them. It’s walkable to several food options and a grocery store. Check-in was super fast and easy.

The room was good. When the motel was full, it was very noisy. The refrigerator froze all our vegetables. When we turned it down, it didn't work at all. So, that was unexpected. The motel is located within walking distance to downtown, uptown, local restaurants and the grocery store. The view of the water was very welcome.

One of our two rooms wasn’t ready at check in. It was being cleaned, and then it needed aired out and an ozone cleaner used because someone had smoked marijuana inside. They left the door open to the room for 4 hours in 40 degree weather. We didn’t have access to the room in a Isabel fashion until 9pm
