What a lovely property! It was so quaint and quiet for an Inn. The property was very clean, plenty of hot water, an excellent breakfast with both hot and cold items, all staff were very pleasant and had ample smiles. They kept the old-school decor of an inn. It truly was lovely…also walkable to downtown Old Orchard Beach and the Pier. I already have a reservation for this property for later this summer. I am looking forward to it.

The property is actually three separate old homes. We stayed in the main (yellow) house on the first floor. Our room faced the intersection and the sunrise. It was LOUD until about 1130pm with traffic and motorcycles. When the sun came up, it was so bright because the plastic mini blinds were missing a few slats and there were no blackout drapes (only lace curtains). The room needed some TLC—the sink in the bathroom was cracked and the bed linens could use a little updating. The TV was on the small side and difficult to operate; it only got about 4 channels on the “free tv” setting. Breakfast was a standard continental with a few hot items that were almost gone when we got there at 930 (breakfast hours were 8-10). The location was great—only a few blocks to the beach and situated at the top of the little main drag with shops and restaurants.

Everything was very, very clean, which is important. Otherwise it was like staying at a place in the 90s. The mattress was awful and they try to mask that by putting egg crate foam underneath. Pillows were lumpy and thin, old blankets. TV/Internet did not work the entire stay. I messaged the host about this and never heard anything back. Breakfast was like going to a hotel, nothing special and was in a separate building that was difficult to find. This place has potential but need to invest a little money in comfort and if you want to be a bed-and-breakfast provide a decent breakfast.
