Really nice hotel. Close seafront, clean and comfortable, very friendly receptionist on arrival, very good breakfast
Would definitely book this hotel again if visited area
Absolutely fantastic the hotel was very clean room was cleaned everyday breakfast was very nice lots of different options to choose from staff were amazing very friendly and couldnt do enough for us we will be going back next year.
We really enjoyed our stay here. Loved reading about the history of the hotel and had a great breakfast. The bar looked like a cosy place for a drink but sadly we ran out of time to try it out. We’d recommend this hotel.
Lovely hotel that meets all expectations, we stayed for one night travelling down from London, great location, easy to find and park, clean and comfortable, tastefully decorated with a relaxed atmosphere, super delicious breakfast and great coffee .. would highly recommend to anyone that's looking to spread their activities over two days recharging at the Seacrest hotel whilst spending time in the Southsea / Portsmouth area for the great shops in Gunwharf Quays, lovely walks and the beach !
Outstanding service from all staff we encountered. Room service and general cleanliness excellent. Great selection and quality of breakfast. All in all a very happy customer. Great job well done
Not a huge hotel. More like a large b and b with a bar. Lovely views across to the Solent. Straightforward comfortable room but mattress too soft. Breakfast was amazing and the morning staff were very welcoming. Parking voucher £2 to park outside was brilliant.
Uniquely decorated rooms. Pleasant common spaces. Broad breakfast selection, special diets catered for. Parking can be a bit tricky as there are only a few spaces in the car park behind the hotel and the road is busy. Excellent access to the seafront and piers. Bathroom was a little tight but overall we enjoyed our stay very much.

Very clean and good breakfast included
Very clean rooms, and quality sheets and towels. Shower has sufficient hot water. Very helpful staff.
Full English Breakfast is great.
Stairs up and down are not avoidable. This should be mentioned in booking process in case someone has physical challenge.
Entry to on site parking should be clearly stated once hotel booking is confirmed.
Room is too small. With our two carry-ons we could barely walk around the bed.
Pleasantly surprised that it was so clean and modern. Parking arrangement clear, staff accommodating when I left key in room. Breakfast staff lively sense of humour. Staff always personable.

Difficult parking and tiny top floor room
Avoid rooms on the top floor ours was tiny and stuffy, we asked to change but they were fully booked. We were lucky to get a space in the very small and tight parking area behind the building because it was a saturday Southsea was very busy no parking nearby on the roads!
Overally nice place , a bit price for a tiny room, £82 for a box room , not fair , Checked at midnight from the airport, glad they were still open,
Place is clean and tidy
There is this unforgettable young man in his 70s I think , what a gentleman, he was the highlight of my stay, soo helpful and friendly . I think his name is Ed, thank you Ed
Downside how do people save breakfast from 7 am to 9am
Like really who wants to wake up before 9 am to eat honestly ,
They could at least extend breakfast time , those who want it early can go and let people lie in
I was a little disappointed that after checking in at midnight after travels , I was given 1 hour extra check out , I think they could do better there for genuine people who need it ,
We all had the best weekend! Hotel was walking distance from everything we wanted to do. The Seacrest was friendly, clean and worth every penny! The staff were wonderful and nothing was too much trouble! Would definitely go back!
Our stay at the Seacrest was really good thanks in no small part to the lovely friendly staff. Looking forward to going again with our grandchildren soon. The hotel was clean, warm and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. It felt like a home from home. Lovely comfortable room with sea views, we slept really well. The service was excellent as was the food. Thank you Seacrest
We have suffered such poor service in UK hotels since the start of the pandemic so we tried the Seacrest again as we have always enjoyed our visits in the past. They did not disappoint. It is in a very nice part of Southsea and within easy walking distance of many restaurants. We had a superior double room and it was well furnished and tastefully decorated. The staff are always welcoming and professional. Hope to visit again soon!
Very nice hotel, staff friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast served in good time.
Only slight reservation, room a bit noisy as above the bar, but as it closed by 11pm, not really an issue for me.
It was clean and fresh on arrival. The staff were lovely, friendly, professional and knowlegable.
10 mins from the centre. Very close to the beach.
Would definitely recommend and revisit

Excellent
Ideal position for the Gaiety where I had booked tickets to see show. Brilliant choice and value for money. Breakfast was excellent
Room was clean and comfortable but quite small. Staff were friendly and unobtrusive. Parking was by on-street permit at a reasonable £2 per day. Good central location.
