Great space, relaxing and warm. The room was a nice and big with a nice bathroom. The kitchen was clean and stocked. The sitting area had games and there is a list of local spots if you’re not familiar with the area and the staff was very hospitable. I will definitely stay there again!

Beautiful surroundings, peaceful and quiet! The room was super clean, as well as the bathroom; in fact, the entire house was immaculate! Lenny was a joy to talk to and gave me a history of the house. The continental breakfast was plentiful and fresh! I will be making my way back there in the near future; there are so many more places to check out for hiking!

Sweet place to stay. Room was comfy and appointed with everything needed. All beds are kings - smart option. Lenny met us to check us in and made us feel very at home in the house and on the property. We had excellent pizza at the local Square Peg establishment (5 min drive). Breakfast options of bagels, cereal, juice, coffee, and snacking bars suited us perfectly and were in plentiful supply.

owners very nice- cottage perfect name : house is over 200 years old- bedroom charming with undated bathroom. The first floor is the common area- updated and comfortable. Lots of land with lake accessible but would not be one to swim in. There is a vineyard - with plans being to have functions, wine tasting- they already have the start of a beautiful building and have made wines from their crop. Though both casinos and Mystic close by- the location is one that you need a car. Our goal while staying was relaxation- which was achieved

The property is very nice, you can walk right down to the lake. They also have tent set up if you want to sit next to the pond. They have a fire pit and grill you can use. They stock in the cottage a lot of different drinks and breakfast things. It was a great experience and the owners are extremely friendly and answer you right away if you need anything.

This place was perfect for a 6 night stay. Clean and quiet. Beautiful grounds. We so wished that the winery was already open, but the vines were beautiful to look at while enjoying the complimentary breakfast. Lenny was so kind and fun to talk to. John made sure to let us know of all the local events. We could not be happier and looking forward to a return soon.

The Cottage at Amos Lake is the epitome of excellence. I've stayed there twice now and can't say enough wonderful things about the property and the staff. They are polite and kind, and always go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect for your stay. The rooms are clean, quiet and have an air of luxury to them. There's a communal kitchen offering cereals, granola bars, bagels and cream cheese, coffee and tea, bottled waters. It is all included with your stay. The property is super close to Foxwoods, which is very convenient considering the outrageous prices to stay at the casino. The Cottage will always be my first choice and I so look forward to my next stay!

Clean, comfy, quaint bed and breakfast

Loved everything about our stay. From the hosts welcoming us to the continental breakfast availabile ALL DAY to the comfy beds, we enjoyed all of it. We're looking forward to coming back when the winery / brewery is finished after getting a behins the scenes tour of the future location on premesis.
