I don’t normally choose to stay at Super 8 but this hotel was intended as a place to rest before we had to get on the train early in the morning. It served its purpose but there were a few issues we encountered. Upon inspection, the mini fridge appeared to have something spilled in the bottom of it. I didn’t want to get too close to it but it did appear to be rust when I got a slightly closer look at it. Also, the tub was dirty and the bathroom door wouldn’t close all the way. There was at least an inch gap between the door and the frame where the ground prevented it from closing any further. I would say it’s a settling issue. Besides the tub and the door, the rest of the bathroom was great. The beds were pretty hard making it hard to sleep. The continental breakfast was pretty basic. The protein options were very limited. We also came to breakfast pretty early and things weren’t very well stocked. We only had 6 of us in our group and not all of us were able to get a granola cup for our yogurt. There weren’t any staff monitoring the breakfast while we were there to make sure things were stocked. Whenever we did have an encounter with the staff they were always very friendly and didn’t act inconvenienced by any of the few requests we did have.

Great for a quick stay - easy in and easy out, friendly staff and locked bikes on our car were not messed with. Could use more than one chair in a room with one king bed.
