“This was our second time staying here. The first time was off season Feb. 2025 his time the begining of Oct. 2026. Disappointing service and constant excuses We were incredibly disappointed with our stay at Tapoco Lodge, primarily due to the lack of knowledgeable staff. Whenever we had questions or needed assistance, the employees we encountered seemed entirely untrained and unable to provide basic information about the property or services. To make matters worse, whenever we brought up an...

“The staff was very friendly, kind, helpful. They LOVED interacting with our Beagle Theodore. They showed him so much love. We had a great view of the mountains. We did unfortunately miss breakfast during our stay, so I can not leave a review for that. The hotel was also quiet & in sections of different buildings making it more personal. We had a nice large private balcony that is separate from the main entrance of our room. Also the parking was not in front of anyone's bedroom window.”

“Long View is top of my list of places to stay for all time. We stayed for two nights as an entry way to the Smokey Mountains, and it more than exceeded our expectations. Amazing views from the expansive deck with fireplaces, incredible design and planning went into the structure - a credit to the owner & local builders. Comfy beds and very welcoming staff. Breakfast is enough of a reason to return!”

“We were fortunate to be upgraded to the deluxe "cabins" at the top of the property but were also very pleased with the rafting trip and staff at the center. The restaurant at the river was very good and a great convenience as we dined there all three nights of our stay. The prices there were very reasonable for dinner. The train trip offered at Bryson City was excellent and about a 20 minute drive to reach.”

“The bed and bedding in my room was clean and very comfortable. Unfortunately the walk down the hallway had a terrible smell which could have come from cleaning up from dogs that were allowed. The ceiling in my room had mold in the corners. There had been a recent partial update; laminate floors and bathroom flooring. The shower drain and plastic tub were black at the drain. The countertop in the bath should have been updated because it was an old style Venetian marble from the 70’s. There...
