"We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Donatello. Right away when entering we found friendly helpful staff. Upon entering our room it was apparent it was clean. The location is perfectly located, easy to get anywhere!! Breakfast was delicious always fresh and again staff were always very friendly and polite!"
"Rooms are very small (even for Italy). I had to search for an additional room in the area since it was impossible for two people to share one room that advertised sleeping 3 people. Cleaning staff start working in the halls early in the morning, so good luck getting any sleep during that time without ear plugs. Great location and staff, but I would never come back again. Overall, in Padua, apartment seems like a safer bet."
"The rooms are very clean and the fact it was so close to the sanctuary of Saint Anthony was a huge Plus. However, I didn’t realise that it wasn’t a 24 hour reception and so the traditional perks of a hotel were absent. As in calling for a taxi or any particular information about the local area. But I think this was probably in the information and I must’ve overlooked it. One thing I have to say was there was a strange smell within my bedroom and when I went to bed, my clothes had a strange smell...
"This is a perfect accommodation for travelers who would want to stay in downtown Padua. The hotel is strategically located - five minute walk from the city center and ten minute walk from the train station. It fit perfectly with our trip plans. We spend a leisurely day enjoying Padua and its history and the next day we took the convenient 25 minute train ride to Venice 's St Lucia station for a wonderful stress free day trip to Venice.
