This is a great property and in a very good location. Close to the beach and the action but far enough away for a good nights sleep. Lots of restaurants nearby. I would like an option for an included breakfast in the future but I would still stay here again

Great location, very close to the beach & multiple restaurants. The bed in our rooms were squeaky & not the most comfortable, the pool wasn't the cleanest the 1st day we were there & there's construction being done right next door so the front of the street where the property is located looked messy. It would be nice if they disclosed the construction before people booked.

The room was very clean with powerful air con. Lena at reception was so helpful to us throughout our trip and organised surfing lessons for us as well as helping us with stains on our clothes. There was fresh fruit and filtered water available, as well as toast and coffee in the mornings. The location was good, about 5 minutes from the beach and lovely restaurants

Modern and clean property with a nice pool. Locations is amazing just minutes walk to the main strip in la punta where there are many great restaurants. Minutes walk to the beach where the waves are great to surf. Highly recommended.

Solo female traveller-great location close to eateries and beach close to several gyms. Ion a side street lots of construction which didn’t disturb me. Be prepared for a lot of dogs barking at all hours. Some nights were difficult to sleep and others were quiet. It just is that way. The hotel itself was perfect. Friendly staff and 24 hour front desk. Felt safe. Rooms were clean and had hot water. Fresh fruit in the morning was lovely.

This is a decent basic hotel but I found the staff unfriendly. I’d say hola but was rarely greeted back. Nice little pool area, elevator super convenient, perfect location. The amenities were very basic. The water pressure was highly unreliable. Good WiFi most of the stay. Clean. Very poor communication. No follow up about water complaints. My partner spoke Spanish so that was not the issue. I wouldn’t stay here again and found the local restaurants even more disappointing. It’s very touristy.

So just be cautious. your room key opens up all the rooms on your floor. We found this out because we went with a different couple and we accidentally had our rooms mixed up, but we found out that our keys would open up any door, at least on our floor. We brought it up to the front desk and he kind of just played it off and said he will look into it and didn’t say anything. made us feel uncomfortable, and we left two days early

The hotel is beautiful and seems brand new. It’s in an excellent spot because it’s walking distance to all the bars, restaurants, shops and beach, but away from the noise.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Casa Ita Surf. The location could not have been better — walkable to everything and perfect for exploring the area. The staff truly went above and beyond, and Lina was especially amazing. She communicated with me about anything I needed and made the entire experience seamless. The hotel itself was peaceful, quiet, and exactly the calm vibe I was looking for as a solo traveler. This trip exceeded my expectations in every way. Highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a chill, relaxing, and welcoming place in Puerto Escondido.

I couldn’t connect the television to WiFi and when I asked front desk, they brushed off my concern. When trying to connect blow dryer, it wouldn’t connect to outlet and I could not move blow dryer as the fixture was screwed to wall
