Sana and its entire staff was absolutely top tier. The facility was clean and refreshing as a change of scenery of the “”Tulum” aesthetic. I’ve never been to Tulum and in booking this property it is close to both popular beach clubs of MIA and TABOO… the ocean was steps away from my room and as this was an adult only property it wasn’t wild with young folks running around. This property doesn’t have tv in their rooms which is perfect to disconnect completely and fully enjoy your experience at the beach listening to the waves. Excellent location-quiet late at night/early morning so we slept well. Walking distance to tons of shops, restaurants, bars & beach clubs. Loved being right on the beach! Property was clean and very well maintained. Staff was friendly and attentive. Beds were super comfortable and great air conditioning. Good and drinks were all fresh and delicious. This was the perfect honeymoon getaway. Remote enough to avoid the large crowds in Tulum Beach but close enough to outstanding restaurants, cenotes, and the ruins. The hotels staff was excellent and friendly, and the complimentary breakfast was the finest I ever had.

Shibari Tulum is MAGICAL. The pictures don’t even do it justice. The resort is beautiful, relaxing and fun and the staff is overly friendly and accommodating. We loved our stay at Nomade! The staff is incredibly attentive, and what I loved most was their attention to detail. Candles light the path from reception to the beach. Citronella (not the fake stuff we have in America) burns late into the night and gives the whole place a sort of mystique at night. Quite possibly the most beautiful and relaxing stay I’ve ever experienced. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a stay that is reflective of the natural beauty and environment of Tulum and not the all-inclusive resort side. Also the opportunity to see baby sea turtles climb the shore past my room at night is a memory I’ll have forever.

This hotel is gorgeous! The beach & view were stunning & lots going on in the area. Our room couldn’t have been better. I have stayed all over the world & have never had a friendlier or more accommodating staff. They went out of their way to make sure all of our needs were met. Kanan is the one of best hotel in the neighborhood. Location amazing , service amazing ,spa amazing ,food amazing .
