The resort is beautiful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the food and amenities made every day enjoyable. What truly made this trip unforgettable was the incredible staff. Every employee I encountered was kind, professional, and always willing to help with a smile. They went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable, cared for, and safe throughout my entire stay. Whether I was relaxing around the resort, dining, or exploring the property, I always had peace of mind knowing the staff was attentive and looking out for their guests. "A Spectacular Stay at Barceló Bávaro Palace — Made Unforgettable by Brandol Ortega This is our ninth trip to the Dominican Republic, and we’ve stayed at quite a few resorts over the years — some better than others — but we always find ourselves coming back to this beautiful country. Our first visit to Barceló was 13–14 years ago, and it holds a special place in our hearts for good reason. This trip, we came with family and friends, and we can honestly say everything has been wonderful. The resort delivers on every front — the atmosphere, the amenities, the food — it’s the kind of place that makes you never want to leave. But the person who truly elevated our stay to something extraordinary is Brandol Ortega. Without question, the best host we have ever had — not just at Barceló, but across all nine of our Dominican Republic trips combined. "The property was very clean and beautiful !! The staff at the resort was very helpful and welcoming upon arrival. The pools are very clean ! I would highly recommend to book this hotel ! The only minor issue was the lack of hot water in the room. I alerted the receptionist and was able to get a room change. 10/10 experience tho ! The food at the buffet was AMAZING ! you will never feel hungry at this resort !"

"This resort was amazing! We had a suite with it's own private pool area which we very much utilized. The property also many public pools to choose from, with a few of them having swim up bars. Beautiful white sand beach that you can just walk out to, with beach chairs, and Cabanas. Only drawback about the beach though is that the water water had lots of sargassum seaweed, which they were doing their best to clean up. The rooms were kept clean, and the restaurants had lots of variety, however we felt that there could have been more Domican food represented. The staff was very nice, and helpful whenever possible. There is nothing that would not make us not want to book the resort again. We were very happy with our 10 day stay!!"
