I want to predict by saying the best part of this resort is by far the food in the air down restaurants. The food saved this review. I wanted to love this resort so bad. There were some amazing things, and EXTREMELY frustrating things. When we first arrived we upgraded to “Privilege”. Roughly $130 per day additional per couple on the Adults only El Beso where we already had reservations. We did not expect it to be the Ritz, but expected real amenities…. It was spotty service to say the least, at times very good communication, and decent service……. However, everytime we hoped upgrading would be worth it, we were let down. Only do this is you book privilege ahead, and get the specific rooms on the beach. The privilege section on the beach is laughable. No one wants to sit 200’ back from the BEAUTIFUL ocean. However having all of 20 chairs on the beach for the entire Adults side is asinine. The private beach to the side of the beach is where everyone goes, and they should honestly look in to taking it over and cleaning all the trash off of it. It was a gorgeous beach with Mountain View’s!!! Please also clean the trash off the other side! It’s crazy…. We booked a rooftop jacuzzi room. Do not book this room. When we’re arrived to our room and the main toilet was not functional to start. There were so many issues with this room 17307. The fridge sounded like a plane taking off and was not once stocked for our “privilege” status. I don’t have enough characters to finish……..

Mountain View’s were nice, but so much trash next door.

We truly enjoyed our stay at El Beso at Ocean El Faro. There were plenty of amenities and activities for everyone. The staff was courteous and attentive, and even though we opted to be environmentally conscious and did not request daily bed changes, housekeeping still came in and kept the room consistently tidy. The idea of using bracelets to identify guest groups while also serving as room keys is such a neat and convenient concept. As someone who is very mindful of the environment, I was especially impressed that the air conditioning automatically turns off when the balcony door is open. I do have one small suggestion: consider making the pastries bite-sized. They all look so delicious that guests want to try several, but many end up half-eaten, which leads to unnecessary waste.

Las cámaras no estaban bien limpias, avía mucho polvo, poco bien curado. La gente que limpiaba cada día se olvidaban las toallas. También la estructura no estaba bien limpia en él complejo, comida bastante bien ai alguna cosa que mejorar porque por ser un resort de 5 estrellas es un poco de baja calidad. El personal muy bien fueron todos amables y simpáticos a parte el mayordomo que los primeros días no respondía a los mensaje y nos daba poca atención los últimos días se despertó y mandaba mensaje cada rato con las informaciones de las actividades, que debería ser desde el principio.

First off I would like to say that some of the staff were okay. However, the resort is a total rip off. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! Where do I begin. 1) When I got there I was quoted a price for my friend. I wanted to pay it right then but was told that the card reader was not working. When she arrived the next day the price miraculously went up by $ 500. 2) the resort needs a total facelift. The rooms old and dirty looking. 3) the food was awful Breakfast, lunch and dinner. 4) The resort lied about it being Adults Only. There were kids everywhere. It was a disaster.

If you are thinking about visiting here please think again. For what we paid to come here it was absolutely not worth the money. As others have said, they claim to be, and charge customers as if they are a 5 star resort which they clearly are not. The service was generally bad with a few exceptions, rude employees, grumpy bartenders, every sit down meal we had was messed up, one entree would come out but not the other, the server would forget apps or desert if ordered, so we ate at the buffet the rest of the time and one of us got sick (possibly food poisoning). The spa couldn’t find our appointment or the woman after us. We were assigned a concierge to make reservations and help us navigate the resort though he was nonexistent until the second to last day when he shared a daily newsletter that showed what was going on there each day which would have been helpful on day 1 as we were there on NYE with no idea what they were doing to celebrate. Aggressive timeshare sales people trying to sell some BS timeshare program that clearly was a scam. When we went to leave after standing out front waiting for our ride next to a few employees for 20 minutes they wait til our ride gets there to tell us we need to check out first, rather than share that in the 20 minutes we are standing there, so we run back to tell them we are leaving. Very chaotic and inconsistent service, rude employees and staff and dirty rooms. If your thinking about visiting here please do not do it.

This was a lovely property with lovely staff. We did have some minor issues with noise outside our room in the middle of the night due to a pool table and pingpong, and it rained a lot one day and we had 2 leaks in our room. But upon speaking with the manager Manguel, he went above and beyond for us. He moved us to a beach front, suite with 2 rooms and all the amenities. We did notice too, that he took immediate action and the next time once the gazebo was closed they staff had taken away the pool cues and rackets. So no more late night noise.

The property was beautiful, food was good for the most part and the weather was great. The amenities and activities were great. The staff, 75% or so lack customer service skills and do not take initiative or don’t know how. Many staff need to improve language skills so communication is clear.

My stay was enjoyable, staff is friendly, food is decent, beach is good, rooms are modern and spacious. However, I left a couple of items in my room by mistake. When I contacted the hotel within 24 hours of my checkout, they were not very helpful in locating the items that I left in my room. I never got them back.

We spent 7 days in the El Besos side of Ocean El Faro. The property and staff were amazing. Especially our host Kevin. He was a pleasure to deal with and very responsive to our requests. He checked in us often, booked dinner reservations, sent updates on daily activities and really enhanced our experience. Highly recommend the resort and Kevin to anyone who is on the fence about going!

Had a great stay at the El Beso Ocean El Faro. Both hotel lobbies were stunning! Our room was amazing and our concierge, Kevin, ensured we had everything that we needed during our stay. I will say it would be nice if there were more restaurants on the El Beso side, but the one restaurant was great for dinner. Absolutely recommend the ribeye steak for dinner! My partner and I spent a lot of time on the family side just because there was a lot more activities and majority of the restaurants there along with the main entertainment. Very fun! My partner and I really enjoyed the free bowling on the family side and the lazy river! On the El Beso side we were so appreciative of the pool table and ping pong table side by side and free on that side as well. The pool was more quiet but it was great because we were able to get a cabana/bed every time we lounged by the pool. Overall, for the price we paid it was an amazing value. Amazing room, great service, so many activities and beautiful hotel.

El hotel estuvo muy bueno y superó mis expectativas. Tiene bastantes áreas para entretenimiento, así como, áreas tranquilas. Tiene diversidad de restaurantes para la hora de la cena que son un plus. El steak house se lleva todas las estrellas, el servicio de Nicolas fue increíble. De igual forma, Raquel quien te recibe antes de entrar es muy amable. En cuanto a los demás restaurantes, Isaac en el Pez Dama fue muy amable también. Los tragos preparados por Elena en el Bar del lobby son increíbles. Respecto del concierge asignado, la asistencia fue buena. Tenia muy buena disposición en ayudar y preguntar si nuestra estadía necesitaba algo adicional.

The room was spacious and has everything you need! I came here with my husband to celebrate my birthday and Kevin helped him surprised me with a delicious cake at dinner and when we got back to our room it was decorated with balloons, and a bottle of champagne. Daury, chef Henry, Aneury, Natanael, Victor and Jose Carlos were all amazing. All the staff here treat you well and are all great. Can’t wait to come back!

Mi cuarto estuve excelente. Maria la que hace los smoothie hizo un buen servicio, los animadores muy excelente, David Jiménez(guineo) estuvo súper también muy chévere el chico, se destacó. Kevin Paulino-deben darle sus estrellas ya que también se portó muy bien y fue uno de los mejores. Alexander Tavares, Miguel de las maletas entre otro chicos fueron excelente, tienen un equipo en estas personas que se esmeran en hacer un buen trabajo con mucha humildad. De verdad fue mi primera vez quedándome en este resort y no será mi última vez. Volvería por ellos porque me tramaron muy pero muy bien. Dios los bendiga a todos!

We had a great stay at Ocean El Beso in Punta Cana! The resort was clean, beautiful and spacious - there were a lot of other guests, but never felt over crowded. The food exceeded our expectations, and we loved all of the different options available (especially our daily stop at Mike’s Cafe!). Our room was comfortable and we enjoyed our private rooftop patio - and was an added bonus to see & hear the ocean from our room. José Miguel Jiménez was our personal concierge for our stay, he was so helpful and quick to answer any questions or requests that we had. We really appreciated his efforts to make our stay enjoyable & memorable. We spent most of our days at the “quieter” pool - the pool was refreshing with lots of space to swim & the pool bar staff was very friendly! The only downside to our stay was feeling like there was limited poolside chairs & cabanas available because people would leave their things, claiming a spot, but then leave the pool area for hours (but that happens everywhere). While we didn’t swim in the ocean, we enjoyed our day spent at the beach - lots of space and lounge chairs available, and loved that it was a short walk from the rest of the resort. We would definitely recommend Ocean El Beso to friends looking to travel to Punta Cana & are overall very happy with our stay at this resort :)

Giving this a 4.5 as an all inclusive. The entire trip was excellent. From check in with Joel (excellent service) to check out with Joel, we enjoyed the trip so much. Jose Miguel was our butler and he was great! I recommend the privilege as the lounge and upgrades are fully worth it. I would go back for sure (we are in Jan). We ended up upgrading to Ocean Front room and with Privilege. I don’t love a sales pitch and they didn’t bug us or push us when we said no to attend their daily sales pitch. Very Comfortable beds Clean and beautifully designed spaces Lobby bar at the main part of the resort is amazing. Nice beach (lagoon on the side of the resort is excellent and calm) Adults only side is great. The pool bar drinks are meh. Quiet pool is very nice. I would suggest they add the privilege section to that pool vs the more busy louder pool. We have food allergies and loved the attention to detail on this. The wine list is good. Would prefer is better wine is severed in general. Das Pez for lunch is excellent. Their veggie options could use a bean dish or tofu. Katherine Italian was amazing Miguel breakfast remembered our drunk orders and brought them to use daily when he saw us. Migel lunch was a really nice touch. Carmen lunch das pezwas great and made amazing mojitos. Melvin also helped at lunch and dinner at the Mexican.
