The property is a bit run down. Food wasn't the greatest. Our room key wasn't working the first night, after returning 3 times to have it reprogrammed had to wait 30min for someone to come fix it. Melting outside in that humidity was no joke.

Horrible experience. Staff needs training on hospitality. Food was terrible too and Im not a picky either. Even the simplest foods youd think they couldnt mess up they did. What they were really great about was kicking you out of anywhere you shouldnt be at. Restaurants were very low capacity and always full so we had to habe the same food all trip. Room wasnt ready until 4pm, they didnt clean our room until 5pm one day, no towels another day we had to go down and use beach towels, we asked for a birthday cake 5 times to confirm it would come only for them to tell us they never got our order, called for a crib 3 times. It just seems like guests are an inconvenience to them and you can tell there is no training or management to prioritize service. Go elsewhere

We both got terrible food poisoning from the restaurant. I spent 4 days in bed, couldn’t eat. Hotel staff said ‘that doesn’t happen here’ and offered no support. I’ve travelled to >30 countries without getting food poisoning. My husband, who got it a few days later than I did, is a doctor. We did not eat off of the resort. Otherwise it would have been great, but it turned out to be a huge waste of money, with no refund offered.
