โThis was a very old style hotel that had been kept very good order in keepingwith its age our stay was very enjoyable with a lovely swim in the outdoor heated pool, the breakfast in my opinion was faultless lovely good and very well presented with a good choice to choose from we wouldn't hesitate to stay at knoll house again โ
โVery pleasant and comfortable. Spacious rooms in a large old stone-walled mansion very near the centre of Swanage and not far from the sea. Friendly and helpful staff. Large garden and ample parking.โ
โThe staff were really welcoming and helpful.
I was given local information on arrival and a vegan breakfast was provided in the morning.
Excellent value for money too.โ
โWe booked the budget rooms which were surprisingly spacious. The conservatory has lovely views of the water and itโs very easy to walk to the sea. We would return.โ
โBankes arms!! First of all, I am not good at English, so I am not sure if the meaning will be conveyed well. Because of the connection with other itineraries, I could only plan the itinerary for one night at corfe castle, but it gave me regret that I was only just able to stay for one night. If I stayed for 2-3 nights, I would have added to the flavor of the trip by drinking beer or tea in the garden while looking at the wonderful view, steam train, and castle. I am so grateful for the...
โWe had a great time, the staff were attentive and friendly. The food was good and the room perfect. We could highly recommend a stay at The Red Lion, you won't be disappointed. โ
โLovely hotel, very helpful staff. Restaurant was excellent, they were so good with my special dietary needs. Wheelchair friendly room, parking space and Restaurant access. We will be back. โ
โAbsolutely wonderful. Staff were very helpful, always very polite and cheerful. Room was good with comfortable bed. Food was first class. Would definitely recommend โ
โGood humoured friendly hosts. Excellent breakfast offering superb choice including local produce.
Rooms were very comfortable. The house is grade2 listed and the decor is very much in keeping.
It's situated in a picturesque village a few miles from Lulworth Cove and Durdell Dore.
We really enjoyed our stay, and along with a number of International guests were made to feel very welcome.
We would happily return and definitely recommend it to other visitors. โ
โUnbelievably cheap stay. Lovely en suite room with sea view. Staff very friendly and helpful. My first stay in a YHA in nearly 30 years and experience was so good Iโm looking to come again. Only gripe would be internet signal in rooms a bit poor โ
โA fantastic location for any ardent golfer. The practice facilities, the hotel, clubhouse and course all contained within a compact area. The staff were outstanding and very accommodating. The rooms were spotless and quiet. Breakfast was spot on.All in all a top class stay. The bar staff, booking in and reception, golf and catering staff are a credit to the resort.โ
โThis property is what I would call quirky due to its age. There are steps down from the kitchenette into the lounge and steps from the lounge into the downstairs bathroom.
I found the property to be clean and comfortable.
Generally street parking worked ok but itโs a long walk to the seafront. โ
โThis was a very nice simple little cabin. We stayed for three days and spent a great day at Durdle Door and Kimmeridge and walked to the nearby Walled Garden for breakfast before driving to London the day we left. It was comfortable and clean and Harry was lovely and very helpful. Lovely walks from the doorstep.โ
