"It was our 1st time in Aix-en-Provence, and we didn't know what to expect regarding the city and moving around. We searched for a clean place with a kitchenette and parking facilities, so we could drive to different places. This hotel is not centric to the city, as it would take about 10-15 minutes driving by some backroads to get to the center of Aix and then finding a parking garage nearby. Rooms are kind of small. There is not an elevator, so the luggage has to be lifted through the stairs....

Also there is a sign in the room that if you don’t wash the dishes you will be charged per item for the washing up. I found this to be Penny pinching and mean. "We travelled for the RWC and check in time was 1500. We turned up and the rooms weren't ready and the receptionist had to personally go and check each room individually. It took nearly 30 mins to check in and there were c.20 people waiting behind us. They were simply not ready for a large number of people turning up.
