โWir haben uns als Familie sehr wohl gefรผhlt. Mitarbeiter waren alle auรergewรถhnlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel liegt direkt an einem Eingangstor zum Krรผger Nationalpark und ist ein toller Ausgangspunkt.
Das Essen im Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen. Das Wasser im Pool machte allerdings keinen guten Eindruck. Der Pool wurde zwar tรคglich gereinigt, dennoch war das Wasser nicht klar. โ
โWe stayed at the Sunbird Lodge for 3 nights, and it was very peaceful and quiet. It had two twin beds, a set of bunk beds, small kitchenette, television, air conditioning, desk and chair, as well as outdoor patio. The pool was clean and extremely warm, but refreshing. โStaying with the sisters who run the property and the other staff became increasingly pleasant with every passing day. Plus, I was more than comfortable in my room, where they don't skimp on pillows for those of us who like to sit up in bed to work. There's no generator on the premises for the load-shedding but that's normal for comparable properties. Just stay atune to the schedule is what I learned in southern Africa.โ
โEverything was perfect. Super idyllic location, very friendly hosts, who welcomed us with great hospitalily. The room was comfortable, very clean and spacious. It was thoughtfully decorated. We stayed there on our way to Kruger Park and it was a great location. The gate/ entrance to the Park is 5 min away from the Hotel and the property is guarded by security. We would definitely stay there again.โ
โFantastic size and cleanliness with plenty of supplies (milk, tea, coffee, fruit, cleaning products) provided.
Staff would assist with anything uncluding washing up and laundry, so not really "self-catering" if you wish.
Note: parys of road can be rough depending on rainfall so I would not use a sedan, but at least a light SUV. โ
