"Nice location in Altstadt. Parking available on the street. Host was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean. Fans were available and helped to cope with the high outside temperatures. Many nice things to see in Meissen."

"Spectacular location and an absolutely charming hotel. Room was massive and breakfast was great. Top tip - if you want to eat dinner at their restaurant (and you do - delicious) make sure to book in advance. Also, if you're considering just doing a day trip to Meissen instead, don't. Stay at least two nights. This town is spectacular."

"It's a nice traditional place, very well located in the old town. Very clean but not very modern, and with a shower-in-tub arrangement that was difficult to deal with and felt quite dangerous. Absolutely lovely breakfast room and excellent breakfast. Very good food and huge portions in the hotel restaurant. No English TV at all, not even CNN or BBC, so that was a disappointment, "
