"Quiet, comfortable room."

"Although this "inn" is advertised as a resort, we were surprised at check-in. It's a motel, and although our room was quiet and comfortable, it was not what we thought we were getting. The gentleman who checked us in seemed unattentive and bored. The staff were not well informed as to when the restraunt would be open, and when they would have morning coffee for guests. Breakfast was not included and the restaurant was not open every day. The highlight of our stay was having the 140 or so porche owners stay at the inn. We enjoyed looking at the cars and talking with their owners. A few days later there were lots of Texas Ranger's staying at the inn, and they told us it was the safest place to be in the whole state of Texas. These porche and Texas Ranger guests made our stay at the inn special."

"If you’re looking for a private, quiet, peaceful getaway, with very limited Internet or wireless service, then this place is for you. It was beautiful, serene, and calming. We had a cabin at the top of the hill with a small porch overlooking a lovely valley. The king sized bed was a little hard and the pillows aren’t fluffy but that’s what we like so it wasn’t an issue for us. Room includes a small refrigerator, microwave and small coffee pot. It was all very clean. There happened to be a full moon on the nights we were there so sitting on the little porch was magical at night. Also, lots of deer on the 30 minute drive into Bandera, so keep your eyes peeled if driving or riding early morning or evening. The check-in was easy, if you want early check in wait until noon. There are a few incidentals you can buy there as well. They even offer pizza and wings until 5 pm and even though we didn’t get any it was good to know. I would definitely go back here again."
