Great place to stay. Old-fashioned mom pop motel with a very dated parking lot, however, I would stay there again in a heartbeat. The staff was great. The room was comfortable. The beds were good, and it was clean. Great value in Rawlings.

It's a great value. Friendly reception, comfy bed, excellent hot shower, large fridge, big desk, extra power strips. I wouldn't hesitate to book again if I were traveling through the area.

I love the full size refrigerator/freezer. This is so handy for refreezing ice packs. Great location and super friendly staff. I would suggest running the fan for white noise bc the street seems to be a busy one at night.

Good, clean overnight stay. Office manager was still present at 10pm for check-in, although calling the desk would've allowed for unattended check-in and room assignment, with a 4-digit door code -- a surprising convenience. Room was just fine for a budget overnight stay.

The Brickyard is a true unique stay. Colored, patterned sheets, blankets, and comforter were great Huge, plush towels. The place is older but clean and well maintained. Out of all the places I've stayed, I liked this one a lot because they went ritsy without the high price.

Don't judge the book by the cover: the Brickyard is older, a throw-back to the old motels where you would park outside your room, and the parking area is in need of some work, but for a budget level accommodation, my room was clean and comfy and thoughtfully laid out. The bed was comfortable, it was pretty quiet, and everything worked in the room, including the full-size refrigerator. The Perrys, who run the place, are good, down-home people who also provide a ministry to families of inmates, since the State Penitentiary is located in Rawlins. The Brickyard is not trying to be something it is not: it is an aging, authentic economy motel with a big heart.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our overnight and got a very restful sleep. I adored the vintage tile in the bathroom! Our room was very clean and having a large refrigerator was a nice surprise. There was room for us to park a large SUV, with a trailer in tow as well as a large u haul truck, with a Jeep on a trailer. Thanks for the hospitality!
