The rainforest chalet we had was sea facing with great views.Bedroom was clean and nice furnishings and bathroom ok but old scratched sink and shower cubicle needs new sealing . Loved the fresh fruit every day and mini bar topped up daily . Food was fantastic and great value for money . We loved the beach brasserie for breakfast as quieter and great sea view. Mostly hidden in rainforest the villas are quiet and secluded and the service is excellent.Our beach villa had everything, enormous living area, seperate bedroom area, pool and beautiful gardens. Datai beach is just through the garden gate, safe swimming and at this time of year we were often the only ones in the water. Our "butler" Nazif did everything for us, presenting afternoon tea, organising dining arrangements, buggies and much more. It was hard to find a reason...
