But once we walked into our room # 109 it was a total disaster! The room has a closed up / mold smell and the carpet is very dirty, both of the windows curtains didn’t close properly and there is a cold air draft along the floor area, I did notice form along the entire baseboard area of the room. “Very friendly staff and excellently kept rooms. The gym was also very nice! I loved the area surrounding the hotel. Super cute and all the necessities within walking distance. There is no complimentary breakfast, but they do provide complimentary coffee from their local coffee shop which was excellent.”

“This is a very poorly run and unkempt property. As soon as I checked into the room, I checked back out and found another place to stay. It smells of smoke, the facilities and amenities (pool, etc.) are run down. In addition, it is located at the end of a road with very few street lights, which made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe both physically but also for the likelihood of car theft. “We really enjoyed a relaxing stay here. It is located in lovely VA farm/vineyard country with beautiful views from various rooms in the Manor. The accommodations and common areas where beautifully appointed. We didn't have dinner there but the breakfast was substantial and very good (fresh eggs from their chickens apparently!).
