The staff were SO NICE and helpful. The property was clean and friendly. We can not wait to return. The music playlist in the dining area was fantastic. I hope the owner shares his link!!

Candlelight is an excellent choice for a getaway. The only minor complaint I would have is that the ac is in very front of cabin and the bed room temperature was a bit uncomfortable. We stayed in the fall so it wasn’t a big problem. I don’t know how bearable it would have been in July or August. ...

Refugio is my home town; and I was there to attend a multi-class high school reunion. I was saddened to see how Hurricane Harvey changed Refugio for the worst 2 years ago. Do not expect convenience shopping. It's primarily a gas stop for truckers.
