The hotel is a little older, but very well maintained. It’s located next to the river walk. Staff was very friendly. I would definitely stay here again.
Well maintained property with old Reno charm. Room was spacious, bed was four seasons comfortable, and view out to the city was great. The front desk staff seemed like they truly enjoyed working there and were always willing to help. 10/10 would recommend.
The staff was very helpful. The lobby decor is very charming, well-maintained, and clean. The room was also spotless. Great location; everything is within walking distance
The room was spacious, with plenty of storage space, and felt open and relaxing. Unlike many other hotels in Reno, this hotel has no casino, making it a quiet and peaceful place to unwind. We also enjoyed taking leisurely walks along the nearby Truckee River. It was a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a peaceful stay!
I like the style of this hotel. Lots of wood furniture, kind of retro vibe. It’s very clean. Great linens and bed. The pool is nice. No hot tub but the pool is warm. I’d stay here again for sure. Very friendly/helpful staff. Shout out to Nick. The coffee shop across the street is amazing!
Large rooms with double sinks in the bathroom make for a pleasant stay. Tons of restaurants within a few blocks. Free parking in a covered lot is handy. A little worn here and there but we were satisfied.
This is an older hotel; as a babyboomer I was impressed by the decorating ... eg there was 1960s water skiis and an old fishing pole mounted to the wall on one of the floors.
About 10 to 15 minute walk from the hotel I found the neatest 'Co-op Health Food/Grocery store ... so my stay included healthy snacks.
I would rate the pool good for a 'hotel pool'.
The property is delightfully old fashioned, but well maintained. If you're looking for a modern property, this is not the place to be. If, like me, you like a walk back in time, this is an excellent option. I felt like I was in 1974 and I loved it. Updates that are necessary, such as TVs and toilets have happened and my stay was comfortable.
