The upstairs is an A-frame room and there are stairs to the upstairs unit, and to the loft. This could be a positive for privacy, if you are young and agile. We slept on the hide-a-bed on the main floor and found it comfortable.
Any communication difficulties were on my end, because we were traveling when the hostess tried to communicate with me.โ

โWe booked Bay View Apartments for our last night in Iceland to be close to the airport. It is indeed close, just 12 minutes away by car.
