"5/5 shared bathrooms. Biggest worry any time it's a part of the stay - but bathrooms were spotless, and there are SO MANY. I was there 2 weeks (over 2 stays, on 2 different floors), and never waited for a bathroom once. I think one time i had to walk across the hall instead of the one right outside the room - but it was only an extra 10ft away.
Staff are great, super friendly and helpful. Big kitchens to use."

"The Daffodil motel is in a very good position. It is a nice walk into the city through Hagley park. There are many shops and eateries close by. The room was large and very clean and well equipped. The staff are friendly and attentive. It was the perfect place for me to stay at for my two day mission to Christchurch."

"On arrival we were greeted by Honey, we were shown to our room and even offered to carry our bags, as we enter our room, on the bed was our towels etc with 2 chocolate mini bars..the service we received from honey was outstanding and was no trouble if we wanted something ..
