"Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We definitely felt a warm welcome when we arrived. We had a spacious room with two queen beds. The room was very clean. As was the bathroom. There was a welcome note with two pieces of candy from the room attendant, which I thought was a nice touch. The mattresses on both queen beds need replacement. Both had noticeable dips in them from usage. After about an hour in our room we noticed a few cockroaches. Since it was just a few, we didn’t think much about it. However as our stay progressed (we were there two nights) we found several more of them in our room. As for the bathroom, I liked that the sink was separate from the toilet and the shower and both areas were clean and well organized. We did notice that the water was coming through the shower head with more force than was comfortable. It felt like needles were being shot through our skin. Try as we did, we were unable to adjust the shower head. Also the glass shower door leaked leaving puddles on the floor. With that being said, this establishment has great potential. With just a few fixes this place would be great! "

"Booked my reservation through Expedia for 2 day stay. Prior to the second day the manage was informed that the day needed to be cancelled, he didn't do anything but referred me to Expedia. It's been a week and still no refund. Breakfast was watered down and most everything was gone. The room was nice, neighbors were noisy and you could here walking. Will not use this motel again."

"Very nice place to stay. Staff was very nice; the room was nicely done as far as looks and cleanliness. The shower tub had a lower entry which is great for older adults. Confrontable king size bed. Short walk to downtown Sutter Creek. Safe area for walking. No need to Uber for a ride. It has a gym and a bar. Although we did not check out the bar. "

"Pet friendly historic hotel, large suites, very friendly front desk staff, remember it’s old-so don’t expect newer amenities, historic elevator very fun to ride (again, it’s old)"
