"My family agreed this is the nicest hotel we’ve ever stayed in! The staff was kind and professional. The room was comfortable and spacious-had a nice sitting area, very comfortable beds. The shower was luxurious. The laundry in the basement was set up next to a nice lounge area with complimentary snacks and drinks. It was about a 15 minute walk to major shopping, restaurants and Nishiki Market. I wished it was a little closer, but then getting to walk the side streets of Kyoto to get there was a wonderful experience too! "

Very modern and confortable hotel.

"The hotel Granvia in Kyoto is modern, clean and well organized. The staff is very nice, polite and helpful. The location is very convenient to do day trips from Kyoto. There is a good choice of restaurants in the hotel although they are very expensive. We could hear other guests from our room. The hotel is beautiful at night with light displays and a spectacular view of Kyoto Tower. I would go back anytime! "

"Fantastic hotel in a prime location. 2nd time staying and I wasn’t disappointed. Friendly staff especially at the concierge desk who helped with information on a local festival happening during our stay. My only suggestion would to have ice machines for use rather than having to make the trek down to the lobby to get ice. "

"Location was good, not super close, 25 min walk to nishiki market, 15 minute walk to Gion. But the room was spacious and beautiful, food at the hotel is amazing. If you have the option to add breakfast do it! It was so delicious every morning, also the bakery and rooftop bar were great as well. "

"Ci siamo trovate molto bene. Il primo giorno Jo, il ragazzo di turno dal pomeriggio alla sera, è stato molto gentile perché avevamo un problema con il condizionatore della camera e ci ha assegnato una stanza più bella. È vero che stavamo 6 notti ma abbiamo apprezzato. L’aparthotel è molto carino e anche vicino alla metropolitana. Il personale molto gentile. La colazione è ok. Non c’è molta varietà ma abbiamo apprezzato. "
