Great value stay. Not the top of the line accomidations, but has an onsen, a good restaurant, and it is next to a Family Mart, train station, and tourist attraction.

Mountain Home Lodge in Deer Park
Great adventure, kids liked it. Room is not perfect, and best for 2-3 people though 4-5 can sleep. We had a good stay. Staff is very friendly and accomodating, 5 stars for them.

We were excited to stay at such a beautiful home, but became increasingly disappointed as we found one thing after another missing or broken. The bathroom sink faucet wouldn't run. UU Inn Fushimi Kyoto
Very basic but acceptable. Good air conditioning and wifi. No TV other than a little iPad type thing. Laundry was cheap and worked well.
