"One of the better hotels! Friendly staff members! Great location! Literally next to the train station. Inexpensive for how much it was. The rooms were big, the beds were so comfy and it was easy to navigate through everywhere. Breakfast and lunch were delious. The water pressure was excellent and it hangers available for our jackets. Probably my go to hotel when i come back to kyoto! "

"Incredible breakfast variety Japanese & American! Comfy room & quite albeit on the smaller side but hotel close to Kyoto station. Able to store luggage in their storage room after checkup a plus. All sorts of toiletries can be taken from the lobby."

"No one to help with luggage; front desk would not make dinner reservation--told to walk downstairs and do it myself; very small room; sink and vanity in bedroom area instead of the bathroom; no English television station; no view from bedroom to outside; charge for everything, for example the cappuccino at breakfast and ice at bakery; gym is very small, cold, bad smell, no water and no towels; service staff often unfriendly and unprofessional. Not recommended!"

"This was our favorite hotel on our 10 day trip to Japan. The onsen was amazing, the massage chairs hit the spot when available, and we enjoyed the free coffee / ice cream / ramen daily. We did not add breakfast. The check in area can get hectic, but they had plenty of staff and things moved along nicely. Highly recommend!"

"A very nice and clean hotel right next to Kyoto Station with tons of restaurants and shopping nearby. Very convenient and definitely would stay there again. The he breakfast option was delicious! Staff are very courteous and helpful. "
