โThe cabin was a perfect place to go to sleep after staying out all day on the beach. Close to Fat Boys for ice cream and some of our favorite restaurants. Although advertised as โsoundproof wallsโ our experience was otherwise, could definitely hear our neighbors very clearly through the walls. No complaints, would stay there again with my wife on another long weekend on the Outer Banks!!โ
โBeach front property with plenty of places to rinse off. Heated pool. There is an outdoor and a second indoor pool. There is hot tub area by the indoor pool section. The hotel restaurant was a good value for the meal options. The room was clean with plenty of towels. There are towels available for use at the pool area.โ
โThe continental breakfast waffles were great! Everything was fully stocked. The bed was also great. The pillows were a little on the small side. Housekeeping was very helpful. Loved the pool!โ
โOverall the property is nice and close to the beach but not on the beach. Just a short walk through Hurricane Moeโs parking lot.
The hotel is updated and very clean. The pictures of the pool are misleading. The pool is not very big.

โWe loved our stay at the Blue Heron Motel. Right on the beach, close to everything that you would need. It is not a new, fancy hotel (which is what we wanted). It was clean and larger than expected. The only thing I would suggest is to put some curtains on the window in case guests wanted to sleep in. Overall, we would definitely stay here again!โ
