“I booked a standard ensuite double room but upgraded to the Tudor Suite. I chose this hotel because it is hundreds of years old, which is something we don’t get to experience much in the USA! “Stayed the night due to a friends birthday event, instructions clear and precise, room was lovely with plenty of tea, coffee and various glasses. Would definitely recommend.”

“It is a nice convenient hotel. Clean. Tea and coffee facilities were nice to settle down nicely on arrival and when I woke up in the morning. Mini refrigerator was handy to keep my leftover food in the refrigerator to eat in the morning. Comfortable table and internet. I give 4 star only as there was no toilet in the room and I hesitated to leave my room in the middle of the night.”

When we arrived at the property it was in poor condition. There was black mold in the bedrooms, missing paint on the walls which were barely covered by paintings.
