"Perfect location. There’s a variety of restaurants and shopping places near by. Easy access to the interstate or downtown. A small gym with a tv, and a pool. We love the breakfast. My husband makes himself a waffle and I have one of the flavored oatmeal packets. There's a choice of 2 cold cereals if you prefer flakes or 'O's'. Lots of toppings to choose from—chocolate chips, dried cranberries, chia seeds, slivered almonds, and more. Even Redi-Whip! To drink there's coffee, a variety of tea bags, juices, milks, & water. Yogurts, bagels, muffins & breads. Cream cheese spread and fresh fruits too. I wish there were boiled eggs or something for a protein option, but I've never requested it. All the staff is kind and helpful. We've stayed 3 times so far and plan to stay again."

"Entire property very clean and well maintained. Dog friendly a big plus with pet bags and larger areas to walk. Nice courtyard with bbq grill, fire pit and picnic area. Lots of choices for continental breakfast. Staff efficient and friendly. Bed and pillows comfy."

"This place was spotless and the staff was very friendly. Great breakfast. The beds are a bit on the smaller side and a little uncomfortable but overall good."

"The lady at the front desk during the night/early morning was very kind. She made sure we had what we needed. Our room was clean and breakfast was great. The cleaning staff was very nice. The lady that was at the front desk during the afternoon was not so kind. She had a attitude when she saw me at the front desk. She seemed bothered when I asked if she had any toothbrushes. I had accidently lost the one i had brought from home that's the only reason I asked for one. Another thing is The Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Statesville strictly enforces a local restriction policy that prohibits anyone living within a 60-mile radius, or within the same town, from booking or checking into a room. I live about 230 miles away from this hotel but I was told about this so I was a bit confused. The lady at the front desk said she would only allow me to stay because my cousin who was also renting a room had a Mexican ID."

"This was an overall good stay. The hotel was clean and comfortable. I tried to check in about thirty minutes early, but was denied. Other than that the staff are helpful. If you need to stay on the first floor you should ask about that accommodation when booking. I didn't find an elevator in either building."
