"Overall okay, but outdated in every respect; leaky shower doors, moldy smell, restaurant is overpriced, I would say a rip off, including the small shop in the lobby (paid $17 for two bags of chips). However, the biggest disappointment was the city itself. A sad place, filthy, nothing to see. If I travel to CR again, I would avoid San Jose as much as possible. "

"Room had an awkward design, steps to upstairs loft where bed was located were very narrow and unstable. Do not recommend if you have large frame or small children as it would be very dangerous. Breakfast and pool grounds were wonderful. "
