The staff were lovely, breakfast was great, location was awesome, room was clean and newly renovated. BUT there is nowhere to sit outside and the picture with the chaise loungers in the booking app is NOT an area accessible to hotel guests to be unless you rent that suite on the 7th floor! This was the one big disappointment and this should be clarified by the hotel in their ad and pictures! We booked a hotel where we believed there would be a place to sit outside after a long day of touring and instead discovered that the only place to sit was inside our room (which had one bed (old mattress needs to be replaced) one chair and one stool for the desk) no balconies exist for the rooms. The only public space to sit are 2 chairs in the hotel lobby (very worn down and should be replaced) or limited seats crammed together in a smaller than hotel sized sleep room in the hotel ‘bar’ which is behind the lobby. There are no exterior chairs or places to sit. We were truly disappointed about this! Staff was wonderful at allowing us to check into our room early and we greatly appreciated their willingness to arrange advance transport for ship-hotel and hotel-airport.
