Bathroom was disgusting, very busy/cluttered reception area, the offer of communal shower shoes which were left on the floor of our room was nasty. Did offer soap, towels, and bed was decent. Overall, would never stay again, needs a deep clean.
Stayed here recently and unfortunately wouldn’t stay again.
The biggest issue is that this is essentially a family home with rooms rented out, and the bathroom is shared — not just with other guests, but with the family living there. This wasn’t made clear on the main listing and is very easy to miss when booking.
The bathroom itself was not clean, with hair all over the shower/bath, and we often had to wait to use it as it seemed to be the only one available.
We also had trouble on arrival — we couldn’t get into the building for about 30 minutes as the buzzer didn’t work, and when we finally got in, they initially had no record of our booking and weren’t expecting us.
The room itself was generally clean but very different from the photos and had unusual decor — it honestly felt like we were sleeping in someone’s dining room. It was also very noisy, especially in the mornings with children in the property, so not ideal if you want a quiet stay.
Another thing to note is the kitchen is listed as available, but there was a sign saying it costs €5 to use, which wasn’t clearly stated when booking.
The only real positive is the price and location, but personally I’d rather pay slightly more for a hostel or Airbnb with a private bathroom and clearer expectations.
Overall, okay if you’re on a very tight budget, but go in knowing exactly what you’re getting.
