"The flat is located on a small island so be prepared to cross many bridges just to get off it. The apt is up two full flights of stairs and at the top there is a door with no lock. The apt is one of many apts in the area so someone may come in to grab a mattress off the ground floor, and one day we had someone enter and scare the crap out of us, bc we weren’t aware. "This is an apartment in a 500 year old building. On the canal, large space with extra TV room. Nicely furnished small bathroom but nice. Very nice staff, and we were on the 4th top floor and there are no elevators. 54 stairs. Excellent buffet breakfast for 15 euros. Good Italian Venice experience."
