"we had 3rd floor room w/window seat. Wow factor hits when entering room, large, very clean, well appointed, plus that view of water plus docked boats. Breakfast process is unique, you order by phone and staff brings it to your room, A short written explanation of the entire process would be welcome, ex can you order a bagel IF you order a muffin (yes), what types of bagels are there, coffee came in a pot not a cup, which worked out great, but we did not know that until it appeared. etc. Website menu was inaccurate. I am quite selective about pastries in general and hotel pastries specifically, these pastries were GREAT. Coffee was flavorful and fairly strong, I'd say the best I've ever had at a hotel. Room needs 2-3 easily accessible outlets for charging devices (add an extension cord or power strip), ones that do not require unplugging something or moving furniture. We used the window seat a lot, even as our breakfast table, because the view is outstanding; but there is that classic issue with traditional window seats, after five minutes you get tired of turning your head around to enjoy the view. Sink and shower convenient and no issues at all. Parking convenient. Location great, water & docks start a 2 minute walk away, lots of restaurants and shops within 5 minute walk, historic homes a 10 minute walk. My improvement suggestions took up a lot of space, but to be clear, the room and stay was 5 star, and I would return here."

"Nice place accepts dogs. Good TV and comfortable bed. Nice shower and clean bathroom. Has mini frig and microwave. I'd stay again. Also has a pool but we stayed in October so we didn't go swimming in it."

"Definitely a must . From the front desk to the maintenance people really friendly and helpful.. There was some weather issues but they keep in touch the whole way. we stay in the Tree House Clean,enough space for a family of 4 , Has it's own little kitchen withch is so convenient for us with tiny kids Private enough we didn't have to worry about bothering others.. If you are looking for views this is not the place since is on the back of the property. It was great for us.. we loved it."

"Our stay at Silver Lake was wonderful, Hanna & John were perfect hosts and have done a great job with renovating both the hotel and The Jolly Roger! The room was spacious and well appointed with all needs met. The newly added rockers and side tables on the porch were enjoyable and the resort Bicycles made getting around a fun experience."
