"The room was very nice and the staff was amazing but there was a terrible smell in the hallways that seeped into my room. There was also some questionable characters around and someone got arrested in the parking lot. "

"Our recent stay at the hotel was unfortunately a mixed experience. From the moment we arrived, the check-in process set the tone for the visit. The front desk clerk came across as very unwelcoming and seemed bothered by even basic questions, which made us feel more like an inconvenience than guests. A warmer greeting and a bit of friendliness would have gone a long way in creating a better first impression. The room itself left quite a bit to be desired. It felt dingy and worn, with an overall lack of freshness and attention to detail. The lighting was dull, the furnishings looked tired, and the space just didn’t have the clean, comfortable feel you hope for when staying away from home. While everything technically functioned, the condition of the room made it hard to fully relax. On a positive note, the breakfast was easily the highlight of the stay. The selection was better than expected, the food was fresh, and the dining area felt much more inviting than the rest of the property. It ended up being the one part of the day we actually looked forward to, and it helped make the stay a little more enjoyable despite the other issues. Overall, the hotel has potential, but the lack of hospitality at the front desk and the condition of the room made the experience fall short. With some improvements to customer service and room upkeep, this could be a much better place to stay, but in its current state it was just average at best. "

"I stayed at this property 3/19/2026 for one night not knowing it is being remodeled. If you have sensitivity to strong odors, which I do, I would avoid until the remodel is complete. I believe it was adhesives that were affecting my eyes, nose and gave me a migraine. If you don’t have sensitivity to odors it’s probably not an issue. We have stayed here many times because the location is next to a very nice park by the river and it has always been a good experience. Once the remodeling is completed I’m sure I will return."

"Loud, rooms dorty, utilities did not work properly. Lock on door was loise and didnt work. Noah at the front desk was extremely rude and came across as transphobic for repeated misgendering. He also tried to cancel our reservation on us. Do not reccomend. Do not recommend Tricities area at all."
