We were very happy with the remolded room. Very comfortable, clean and smelled great. We are hoping you will remodel the outside and redo parking lot to make it a great motel to stay!! Very small rooms in this old-fashioned roadside motel. Some cosmetic upgrades have taken place but there's only so much you can do for an old cinder block building. The biggest problem was heat. It's radiant heat with no way to control it. They have a fake thermostat for a central air furnace on the wall, but it does nothing. It's March and the only way to get the heat below 80 is to leave windows open! Doesn't feel to safe leaving ground level windows open. We were roasting hot. We also had ants. The mattress was super hard, so in conjunction with the heat, we didn't sleep much. The motel is pet friendly, which means they charge you $20 per night for pets. Not sure how this qualifies as friendly. Our dog didn't use linens, towels, or eat some dry cereal from their "continental breakfast" so I'm not sure why we paid more. Might be better to be here in summer and use the wall mounted air conditioner, but we'll never come back in winter.

The cleanest thing at this place is the sign. Coat rack was falling off the wall, big chunks of plaster out of the walls, hasn’t seen new paint since 1962. So bad even the toilet paper holder wouldn’t hold toilet paper. Spend $10 more and go to a real motel.

Very friendly staff but poor breakfast

Room was clean and nice it was small but nice bathroom was extremely small if your tall you put your face into the wall basically to sit on the toilet, My husband asked for another set of towels and he ended up with dirty washcloth he washed it himself before he could use it in his shower. Hotels said commentary breakfast till 10 but there was no breakfast at most it’s grab in go maybe a bowl of dry cereal.
