โWe recently stayed at Marshallโs Rest Motel during our โlast vacationโ of the summer celebration. This was our 3rd time staying here. What i like best about staying here is the cute cozy rooms (which are clean & well maintained), the pool area which offers a view of the river while you swim or relax pool side & the closeness to downtown (only a 4 min walk). โAmazing location. Service was terrific. The hotel is truly historic all the way to the phones in the room. We were there during the songwriters convention (lucky circumstance). If you are looking for a great location right in the heart of Gatlinburg I canโt recommend this place enough. โ
โThere is no cleaning the room for everyday. I should get the towel from front desk and shower gel went out. Then I thought, why I should pay every cost for the hotel stay, because the hotel didn't provide full service. They are still living in cobid 19 world.โ
โWe had a balcony directly over a river with a view of river and mountain forest. So we felt we were remote and away from the world. However, when you exited the room you were on a Main Street with a free trolley ride to down town. Or you could walk the mile to get to the center of town and the aquarium.
