“This hotel is a little gem: clean, well maintained, and with good amenities overall. However, the breakfast arrangement needs urgent improvement. Breakfast is provided through vouchers at a nearby bakery, where I found the staff rude and unhelpful. On my only visit, I showed my voucher, was told to wait, and was then ignored for at least 20 minutes. I eventually paid for my cornetti myself, even though breakfast for at least one person was included in my stay. The lady only acknowledged me when...

“ We had a fantastic stay at La Maison du Paradis. Pasquale and his wife were excellent hosts. Pasquale met us at the apartment even though we were late and explained everything we needed to know about the apartment. He checked in on us several times, gave us info about the buses and ferries, dining recommendations, maps, etc. He even arranged a cab back to the train station for us. The listing pictures are accurate and the apartment is in a very nice, old building with an elevator. It...

“Ron was very big and cozy. Loved the decor and history.”

“It’s located in ground floor with no view and wet environment ”

“Cute room in the heart of Salerno.”

“Great location in the historical centre and the room was cute and spotless. The host was friendly and very accommodating. We will definitely visit again!”

“The room was extremely nice, looking out over the water. We were a little nervous when we arrived as the building itself is under renovation however the hotel and rooms themselves are not and are extremely nice. The beds were comfortable and the staff was amazing. We'd had a tour that had been scheduled 3 months prior to our trip cancelled by the operator the day before and the staff worked to find an alternative for us. They suggested restaurants and places to visit in the city and...

“Host did not meet us or was there to give us the keys. Courtyard below the room is dark dirty, and not appealing. Furniture in the room was damaged.”

“Just keep in mind that it’s just a room with a bathroom with other guests next door. The hallway is always dark and they are always asking guests to be quiet. They give you a voucher to get coffee and a treat in a coffee shop nearby. At least their AC worked. But the lady there will turn it off once typical leave the room.”
